Key Responsibilities:
-
Assess residents’ nutritional status, including new admissions and those at risk
-
Develop, implement, and document individualized nutrition care plans
-
Review diet orders and monitor residents for nutritional risk
-
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, and culinary services
-
Maintain accurate documentation and report resident concerns
-
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, rounds, and discharge planning
-
Monitor staff adherence to policies and support quality improvements
-
Generate reports and evaluate operational efficiency
-
Ensure compliance with CMS, DPH, sanitation, and safety standards

Uphold HIPAA, infection control, and OSHA requirements
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
-
Bachelor’s Degree
-
Registered Dietitian
-
Management/supervisory experience as a Registered Dietitian
-
Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
-
Strong planning, organizational, leadership, and team management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Direct experience working in senior living
-
Community healthcare experience
-
Knowledge of Joint Commission, DPH, and CMS
