Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and/or light commercial heating and cooling systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This role will have opportunity for candidated to grow into the Lead Service Tech role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems
- Diagnose system issues and provide effective solutions
- Complete routine maintenance and inspections
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and system performance
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred)
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, outdoors)
- Must be able to keep track of truck stock inventory.
