American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Denver, CO, requiring 1 year of ED experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Emergency Department unit at an acute care hospital in Denver, CO
-
Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
-
On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Epic EMR used for charting
-
Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
-
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Emergency Department required

Current AHA BLS certification required — must not expire prior to start date

ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the ED setting
-
ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ED
-
Performs health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment supportive to patient well-being
-
Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation, and monitors treatment plans
-
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines

BSN is preferred but not required

Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
