Duties
- Operate various manufacturing machinery and equipment with precision, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate component assembly.
- Conduct manual handling of materials and products, including heavy lifting, to facilitate production flow.
- Utilize forklift trucks and warehouse experience to move raw materials and finished goods within the facility safely.
- Monitor production lines for quality control issues, troubleshooting mechanical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow manufacturing management directives to maintain efficiency, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in routine maintenance and minor repairs of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, including inspections, equipment logs, and safety checks.
Requirements
- Proven factory experience with a strong background in manufacturing operations and assembly line processes.
- Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience operating forklifts and familiarity with warehouse procedures.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting protocols and manual handling procedures.
- Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision.
- Technical proficiency with manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Prior experience working within manufacturing management systems or similar operational frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
