American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience and Siemens proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital.

Work in the CT Scan department of an 865-bed Magnet, academic Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
-
Scheduled 3x12-hour day shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Holiday rotation required

Daily caseload varies by shift and location

Equipment includes Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)

Charting via Epic

Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs required, including to sister facilities

On-call is not required
-
Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT Scan experience preferred

Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required

Hands-on experience with Siemens CT equipment required

License required if applicable — SC license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses are not accepted

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers will be considered if they have relevant prior experience
-
Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Previous permanent or PRN staff at any facility within this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission; approval is based on manager and unit needs

Orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date

A radiation badge is required and must be supplied by the agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers

Scrub colors are teal top and black bottom

Parking is free on nights and weekends; a one-time $20 payment is required for a parking pass
