NORMANDIN CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM is a family owned and operated auto dealership in San Jose that has been in business for over 150 years. We are currently looking for a couple journeyman auto technicians to join our busy service team. Chrysler experience preferred but not necessary.
Job Description:
- Diagnose, inspect, service, and repair automotive vehicles.
- Follow Shop policies, procedures, safety rules.
- Perform tasks to maintain Shop safety, appearance, cleanliness, efficiency,
- Work in a cooperative team environment to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary automotive training would be a plus
- Broad scope of automotive & light truck mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Ability to use basic to advanced automotive diagnostic, service, and repair tools
- Understanding of scan tools, scopes, and wiring diagrams
- Ability to diagnose, inspect, service, and repair all automotive systems
- Unrestricted CA Driver License and clean driving record
- Ability to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance; neat and organized work space; maintain cleanliness of client vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Punctual, consistent attendance, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Willing to continue learning and wanting improvement and opportunity
