Duties
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and support team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
- Oversee reservation management, seating arrangements, and waitlist coordination to optimize guest flow and satisfaction
- Manage POS systems such as Toast & OpenTable for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling procedures
- Monitor inventory levels of dining supplies, beverages, and other essentials; coordinate with kitchen staff for food preparation and replenishment
- Train staff on food safety standards, service protocols, and hospitality best practices to foster continuous improvement
- Handle shift scheduling, staff interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and efficient team
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across the restaurant
- Assist with budgeting, cost control measures, and overall food & beverage management to maximize operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervisory experience in restaurant or hospitality settings
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Toast and OpenTable; experience with cash handling is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation processes, kitchen management, and culinary standards
- Ability to train and develop staff effectively through coaching and mentoring programs
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, shift management, and food safety regulations
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate between front-of-house teams and kitchen staff seamlessly
- Experience with catering services or banquet operations is advantageous
