American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience and a TN or compact RN license, with day shift availability and large hospital experience preferred.

MS/Tele unit in a large hospital setting

Day shift schedule: 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM); 4x12s (48 hrs/week) may also be available

Weekend rotation required as needed

Block scheduling is not accommodated, though weekend block scheduling may be considered

On-call required as needed

Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating is rare

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid compact license currently in hand — no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele RN experience required (strictly enforced); 3+ years preferred

ADN or higher required for this position

Large hospital experience preferred

At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible (exception: candidates with 3+ years of recent experience may be considered)

Driver's license required for consideration

Vaccination records required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be forwarded for approval and must be arranged directly with the unit manager or scheduler

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
