Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field/Shop Welder to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work both on construction sites and in our shop environment, performing high-quality welding and fabrication tasks. The ideal candidate will bring energy, precision, and a passion for craftsmanship to help us deliver exceptional mechanical systems that meet industry standards.
Duties
- Follow proper procedures for setup and maintenance of machines in the Field and in the Pipe Fabrication Shop
- Weld copper and steel pipe with welding equipment specified by layouts, blueprints, and CAD drawings
- Operate hand power tools, grinders, cutting torch and other hand tools related to the projects
- Inspect welds as necessary to meet production specifications
- Follow proper procedures when rolling and grooving single and double random lengths, threading and beveling of pipe
- Assemble pipe orders whether in single sticks or bundles and keep work supplies organized
- Follow all established standard operating procedures for pipe fabrication
- Observe necessary safety precautions for fabrications, cutting, assembling, stacking and shipping of pipe for storage and transportation
Skills
- Perform basic system layout activities
- Proficient soldering, brazing and welding
- Proficient use of welding equipment such as torches, wire feed machines, filler rods, plasma cutters, gas cylinders and ARC machines
- Blueprint reading, interpretation, and application skills
- Safe and proper use of hand and power tools
- Demonstrate willingness to work with others in a team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
