Are you passionate about great food and creating memorable guest experiences? We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us deliver exceptional meals every day.
What You’ll Do
As a Line Cook at Rocky’s on the Lake, you play a key role in bringing our menu to life. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and take ownership of a designated station (grill, sauté, fry, etc.), ensuring every dish is prepared with care, consistency, and attention to detail.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Setting up and stocking your workstation; ensuring equipment is clean and ready for service
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
- Properly handling, storing, and rotating food to maintain freshness and quality
- Monitoring and maintaining station inventory levels
Prep Station Duties:
- Chopping, slicing, dicing, and preparing ingredients
- Measuring and portioning ingredients according to recipes
- Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and service-ready
Cook Station Duties:
- Preparing menu items according to established recipes and specifications
- Accommodating special requests, allergies, and dietary needs
- Plating dishes attractively and consistently
- Managing cooking times to ensure food is served fresh and hot
- Safely operating and maintaining kitchen equipment including grills, ovens, fryers, and stovetops

What We’re Looking For
- Back-of-house experience required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A positive, guest-focused attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of training a kitchen staff
