Role Description The Head Instructor is a part-time, on-site role based in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for leading our programs for younger students (K-8). The Head Instructor will train and mentor other instructors, ensure consistent teaching quality, and refine curriculum and practice materials based on student performance data and feedback. Day-to-day tasks include teaching scheduled classes, assessing student progress, communicating with students and families, and collaborating with leadership to improve instructional methods and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, including experience teaching standardized test preparation
- Expertise in curriculum design, lesson planning, and adapting materials for different learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor other instructors to maintain consistent teaching quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, English, Linguistics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Prior experience with test prep centers, tutoring organizations, or secondary/post-secondary teaching strongly preferred.
- Commitment to educational equity, respect for diverse backgrounds, and a learner-centered, inclusive teaching approach.
- Ability to work on-site in Suwanee, GA area in the afternoon and early evening hours.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
