Traveling Production & Manufacturing Supervisor+

Millwood, Inc. is looking for a motivated, hands-on Traveling Production & Manufacturing Supervisor to provide operational leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities throughout the East Coast. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys solving problems, developing people, improving processes, and making an immediate impact wherever support is needed.
You'll work closely with Plant Managers and production teams to strengthen safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement while helping ensure operational excellence across our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel up to 80% to support operations at Millwood facilities throughout the East Coast.
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and attendance goals.
- Reinforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards with consistency and professionalism.
- Monitor daily production activities and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct quality inspections and operational audits to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture by providing training, coaching employees, and enforcing safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory counts, attendance documentation, and shift reports.
- Address employee performance, attendance, and workplace concerns while partnering with Human Resources when appropriate.
- Assist with new facility openings, staffing transitions, operational improvements, and special projects.
- Collaborate with Plant Managers and regional leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives and standardize best practices across locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in different operating environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems; experience with ERP or ADP systems is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel extensively (up to 80%).
