Professional Turf Products is seeking an experienced Autonomous Install and Demo Technician. We have an immediate opening in our Euless, TX location. This individual will be responsible for preparing, delivering, installing, and supporting advanced technology solutions in customer environments. This role ensures successful product demonstrations, system installations and operational readiness by providing hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting and customer training. The ideal candidate is mechanically and technically skilled, highly organized, and comfortable working directly with customers in the field. Customer base includes golf courses, sports fields, large common areas, and business campus green spaces.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required (technical degree or certification preferred).
Experience in equipment installation, field service, or technical support.
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to follow technical documentation, install guides and schematics.
Effective communication skills and customer-facing professionalism.
Ability to travel about 80% of time with flexible hours.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Work in the states of TX, OK, KS, MO, LA and AR.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advanced technology systems (autonomous equipment, robotics, GPS, sensors, software connected devices.)
Familiarity with wiring, harnessing, low-voltage systems and network connectivity.
Experience working with mobile equipment, outdoor installs, or industrial environments.
Basic knowledge of software setup, firmware updates, or app-based configuration.
Forklift certification (PTP provides), OSHA training, or similar safety certifications.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoor/field environments.
Ability to kneel, climb, bend and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working around machinery, moving equipment and electrical systems.
Ability to travel by vehicle and transport equipment safely.
Essential Functions
Demonstrations & Customer Support
Set-up, operate, and support product demonstrations of advanced technology systems.
Ensure demo equipment is fully functional, calibrated and presentation ready.
Communicate system capabilities clearly to customers during demos and pilot programs.
Provide onsite support during customer trials and proof-of-concept deployments.
Installation & Deployment
Install and configure advanced technology solutions including sensors, hardware components, mounting systems and supporting equipment.
Assist with commissioning and system startup, including calibration, connectivity verification and performance testing.
Verify systems are installed according to specifications, safety standards, and customer site requirements.
Support integration of equipment with software platforms, controls, and communication systems.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and system-level issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on demo and installed systems.
Identify root causes and document corrective actions to improve reliability.
Coordinate repair parts, tools, and replacement equipment for rapid field response.
Monitor previously installed product for operation and maintenance and customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate installation reports, service logs and demo records.
Capture customer feedback, performance notes and improvement opportunities.
Support internal teams with field observations to improve product design and usability.
Follow standard procedures for equipment handling, transportation and safety compliance.
