True North is currently seeking Business Operations Managers with overseas experience for multiple international opportunities. Candidates with international experience in the areas of real estate development, land development and construction management are of particular interest.
SUMMARY: True North is seeking Business Operations Managers with a minimum of five years of experience in the real estate development field to manage business operations, sales and services, and client interaction for a growing company expanding internationally. This position requires the candidate to have core competency in real estate and land development projects, as well as construction management. The right candidates will also have a working knowledge of facility operations, asset life cycles, asset management, and preventative maintenance
procedures and related software/business tools. A successful candidate must be a self-starter with the desire and motivation to effectively communicate with and manage a small team of
multinational professionals, vendors, and subcontractors. Candidates should be familiar with
budget and financial management tasks required to lead large construction and facilities
projects. Candidate must be willing to relocate internationally (non-conflict zones).
International business experience desired, MENA preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Effectively manage resources, track business processes, meet company goals, and
maintain and grow client relationships.
· Direct strategic planning and budgeting for business operations.
· Lead sales cycle, closing deals, and responding to RFPs.
· Manage full life cycle of real estate and land development projects from site selection through construction, operations, and final sale.
· Conduct business development and client management tasks to identify, acquire,
and manage both clients and key partners and vendors.
· Manage, motivate, and lead a small team of dedicated, multinational professionals.
· Financial management of daily operations, including P&L and cash flow responsibilities, and budget management and execution.
· Utilize CMMS or similar building management software system to improve the efficiency of asset management and building maintenance activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Arabic and Urdu language fluency
· Minimum five years of experience in operations management/project management in one of the following fields:
o Real estate development
o Land development
o Construction management
· Technically savvy as related to business management applications, tools, and systems.
· College degree preferred with focus on business management, construction, or engineering.
· International business experience preferred.
