American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Durant, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Med/Surg unit (2nd floor) in an acute care hospital setting

Patient ratio of 6:1

Floating required
-
No on-call required

Cerner EMR in use
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license (OK or Compact) required

Current BLS and ACLS required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

PALS required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Black scrubs required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 4 days/nights per 13-week contract, and individual RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

Blocked scheduling is not approved

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
