In this role, you will design, customize, and maintain modern lab informatics applications that directly support drug development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance. Collaborating across research and engineering teams, you will deliver robust, scalable technology configurations that adhere to strict industry standards.
Description – Sapio Developer
- Develop and implement customized applications on the Sapio platform tailored specifically to complex pharmaceutical data workflows and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather process automation needs and translate them into high-performing technical configurations.
- Maintain, test, and optimize existing platform infrastructures to ensure maximum processing reliability, performance, and data security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve specialized software glitches and integration issues within a heavily regulated production environment.
- Document comprehensive system designs, data models, and configurations to support formal validation protocols and continuous audit readiness.
- Stay updated on the latest platform feature releases, pharmaceutical regulations, and software engineering best practices to recommend continuous system enhancements.
Qualifications – Sapio Developer
- Proven hands-on software development experience specializing in Sapio Sciences or highly similar enterprise laboratory automation and LIMS platforms.
- Strong programming background in the foundational backend coding or scripting languages utilized for platform configurations, data integrations, and web service extensions.
- Direct familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing pipelines, automated laboratory workflows, validation protocols, and strict regulatory standards such as GMP.
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail when managing complex enterprise automation projects.
- Strong collaborative communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate intricate backend architectures into clear explanations for multidisciplinary business stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field; equivalent practical industry experience will be highly valued.
