Experienced Irrigation and Maintenance Technician

Job Description:
As an Irrigation and Maintenance Technician at Integrated Site Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for our valued clients. Your expertise will help keep our customers' landscapes lush, healthy, and thriving. Responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues with irrigation systems
- Performing repairs and adjustments to valves, sprinkler heads, pipes, and other system components
- Installing new irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, 2-wire with decoders and grounding, etc.
- Programming and monitoring irrigation controllers to optimize water usage and system performance
- Conducting regular system audits and recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborating with clients and team members to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
Work will consist of approximately 70% irrigation work and approximately 30% managing of native areas, weed management such as applying herbicide, and other maintenance activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role is desired
- In-depth knowledge of various irrigation system components, including valves, controllers, wiring
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with irrigation systems
- Strong understanding of irrigation system design and water conservation principles and how to apply them through proper scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training is a plus
