Yo‑Chi is officially coming to Dallas! We’re building the opening leadership team for our first U.S. venue on Lovers Lane and looking for an energetic, people-focused Assistant General Manager who’s ready to bring the Chi.
As Assistant General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to lead the team, oversee daily operations, and create the fun, welcoming experience Yo‑Chi is known for. You’ll be a hands-on leader who can coach the team, maintain high standards, and step in to run the venue confidently when the General Manager is away.
What you’ll do:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day venue operations
- Lead, coach, and develop Shift Leaders and Team Members
- Help recruit, onboard, train, and retain a high-performing team
- Create a positive, accountable, and inclusive workplace culture
- Lead shifts and model friendly, genuine guest service
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, ordering, and cash controls
- Maintain high standards for food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and venue presentation
- Monitor operational performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
- Resolve guest concerns with confidence, care, and sound judgment
- Ensure opening, closing, and daily operating procedures are completed accurately
- Communicate team, inventory, maintenance, and operational needs to the General Manager
- Help create the upbeat, community-focused atmosphere that makes Yo‑Chi special
What we’re looking for:
- Previous management experience in hospitality, food service, retail, or another high-volume guest-facing environment
- A positive, hands-on leadership style
- Strong coaching, communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Experience training employees and holding teams accountable to clear standards
- Confidence managing shifts, resolving guest concerns, and handling operational challenges
- An understanding of labor, inventory, food safety, and cash-management practices
- Reliability, initiative, and strong attention to detail
- The ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food-manager certification is helpful, but not required at the time of application
