Job Overview
The Web Content Specialist is responsible for writing/editing optimized product descriptions, attribution, and meta data for our website. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: creation of new product listings, optimization of meta data, keyword research, and tracking of existing product status.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Creates, edits, and maintains product listings
- Writes and edits SEO optimized content
- Keyword research
- Update old product listings for optimization
- Other tasks related to content development
- Optimize product categories, subcategories, and URLs
- Other tasks, as assigned, within the Primary Arms Team
Skills and Qualifications
· Creative writing and collaboration skills
· Experience with firearms and accessories from an enthusiast or industry perspective
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic, can work with limited supervision
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Acute attention to detail
· Excellent organizational and planning skills; ability to multitask
· Fast learner with ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced environment
· Experience developing product description and keyword research for marketplaces
· SEO experience
· Familiarity with SEO tools e.g. MOZ, Spyfu, SEM Rush, AhRefs, Google Search Console
