Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto body repair, with a strong focus on restoring vehicles to their original condition. This position offers an opportunity to work with a professional team dedicated to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates with auto collision and mechanical knowledge are highly preferred.
Duties
- Repair and restore vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques for fabricating and repairing vehicle parts
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for vehicle assembly, detailing, and finishing tasks
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Achieve OEM standard repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role
- I-car certifications
- Proficiency in auto body repair
- Skilled in MIG welding, welding, soldering, fabrication, and sheet metal work
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other automotive repair tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of auto estimating processes is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred; relevant certifications or ASE credentials are a plus
