Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing team. works with children who have a diagnosis of autism, ADHD as well as additional diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young learners, fostering their development through play and structured activities.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Provide care for toddlers and preschool age children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience across the daycare.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of preschool education principles and practices.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support children's social-emotional development.
- Experience in working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
