Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashing out customers and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Must be 21+
- Prior barista experience or background in the food industry preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, food preparation, and proper food handling practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic cashiering skills combined with a proactive attitude toward serving customers in a café or retail environment
