Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the company’s goals by installing, servicing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in a timely, safe and accurate manner.
Duties
Ø Install, diagnose, service and repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Ø Read and understand wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits and ensure proper operation according to manufacturer’s specifications.
Ø Replace worn or defective parts such as switches, pumps, motors, bearings, transmissions, belts, gears, heating elements and defective wiring.
Ø Order additional parts for repairs and schedule return service calls according to the individual parts scheduling report as needed.
Ø Monitor contractors to ensure work is performed in an accurate manner.
Ø Evaluate reports of electrical malfunction and initiate corrective action as needed.
Ø Provide technical support.
Ø Use knowledge of building and safety code standards to ensure work is performed accurately.
Ø Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
At least 3 years minimum work experience working in a similar capacity.
Skills/Knowledge:
Maintenance Tracking Systems
Microsoft Office systems and computer usage
PLC familiarity helpful
Familiar with hydraulics and pneumatics
Limit switches
Run conduit and wire
Conveyor systems
Bucket elevators

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
