Location: Chicagoland Area
Overview
We're looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team at Positivity Play, where therapy is rooted in connection, curiosity, and respect for each child's unique way of learning.
This is a part-time position with flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the opportunity to help shape a growing organization from the ground up. If you're looking for a place where your clinical voice is valued and relationships matter just as much as outcomes, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
You'll provide compassionate, individualized ABA services while working collaboratively with families, behavior technicians, and other professionals to support meaningful progress for each child.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, supervising behavior technicians, analyzing data, collaborating with caregivers, and ensuring high-quality, ethical clinical care in home and community settings.
What makes this different
We're building a company where BCBAs have the freedom to practice thoughtfully, not just meet productivity numbers.

Who we're looking for
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Licensed to practice in Illinois (LBA)
- Available to work primarily afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours
- Passionate about compassionate, child-centered ABA
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting behavior technicians
- Values collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams
- Comfortable providing services in home and community settings
- Believes connection is the foundation for meaningful learning
Why Positivity Play
We're intentionally building a different kind of ABA practice, one that blends evidence-based ABA with developmental, relationship-based approaches inspired by DIR/Floortime®, ESDM, and Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs).
We believe children are not programs to be managed. They are people to be understood. Our work is grounded in relationships, supported by science, and delivered with care.
We're creating a workplace where clinicians feel respected, supported, and excited to come to work. Our goal is to build a team that loves the way they practice.
If you're looking for a company that values clinical excellence, mentorship, and genuine human connection, we'd love to hear from you.
