Key Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Experience or confidence working with students at any grade level, PreK-8
- Bilingual capabilities in Spanish highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexible, adaptable, and solution-focused mindset
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and support special education eligibility processes
- Deliver social-emotional and behavioral interventions, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and student support plans
- Serve as a resource for teachers and parents, offering guidance on academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintain detailed and timely records in accordance with district standards
- Adapt caseload support as needed to address evolving student and school needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives
