Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our growing team. As a key member of our newly established HVAC department, you will help define our role in the community while enjoying significant opportunities for professional advancement. You will diagnose, repair, and install heating and air systems for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform full system installs, ductwork, and component replacements (coils, compressors, controls).
- Maintenance: Conduct routine service, including replenishing refrigerants and replacing filters.
- Technical Diagnostics: Utilize refrigerant gauges and technical expertise to identify service requirements and preventive maintenance needs.
- Customer Education: Install thermostats, dehumidifiers, and timers; perform test runs and instruct customers on proper system use.
- Operations: Maintain safe working conditions and document all services/payments using company software.
- Availability: Participate in an on-call rotation and work after-hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of proven HVAC experience.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: General knowledge of industry tools and the ability to work independently or with a crew to complete assignments.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically strenuous work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift tools and equipment weighing 75 lbs or more.
- Capability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel for extended periods.
- Compliance with ADA, FMLA, and OSHA standards regarding attendance and productivity.
- Excellent visual acuity, including depth perception and peripheral vision.
