Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional guest services to enhance their event experience
- Assist with venue setup, breakdown, and manual handling of equipment or supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Manage crowd control and conflict resolution to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees
- Support food service operations, including food handling, cash processing, and POS (Point of Sale) system usage
- Enforce safety protocols by conducting safety checks, responding to emergencies with first aid or CPR when necessary
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth flow of activities, including outdoor work tasks and event logistics
- Provide information about event schedules, venue amenities, and answer guest inquiries confidently through public speaking or direct communication
Qualifications
- Previous experience in events management, hospitality, retail sales, or theater is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle conflict calmly and effectively in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of safety procedures including first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work for extended periods
- Experience working with children or in resort settings is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, basic math skills, and processing cash transactions
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest interactions
