Overview of Position: A Direct Support Provider assists in the instruction and training of members designed to promote educational, social, and physical growth needed to achieve the skill levels as identified in each member’s Individual Service Plan (ISP).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (includes but limited to):
- Plan, prepare, and implement training materials, activities, and programs for members under the supervision of the Adult Services Manager
- Supervise members in their arrival and departure and during emergency drills, meetings, outings, and at all other times during the workday
- Skill in instructing and assisting members in personal care and hygiene and all activities of daily living such as proper nutrition, personal finances, and interpersonal relationships
- Maintain accurate records on all members assigned to the program and skilled at keeping up-to-date filing systems according to DDD specifications
- Manage regular attendance and comply with Accel policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three months of experience working with adults who have special needs.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Prevention & Support, Article 9, and CPR/First Aid
- Seeking full-time position: Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
