Opportunity Overview
Eastlake Cardiovascular, P.C. is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing and well-established cardiovascular practice. This physician will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings while performing interventional procedures in affiliated hospital catheterization laboratories.
This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative cardiology team with strong referral networks, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and established patient volume. The role includes a balanced mix of clinic, hospital rounding, and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Evaluate and manage patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Provide hospital consultations, rounding, and call coverage in collaboration with physician colleagues.
Qualifications and Licensure
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine.
- Completion of fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, preferred.
- Board Certified in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology, preferred.
- Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility).
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Michigan or eligibility for licensure.
- Current DEA registration.
