Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to adapt intervention strategies across grade levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using appropriate tools and techniques
- Develop, implement, and monitor tailored therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students from elementary through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and document compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
