Greenspace Construction Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Onsite Superintendent to provide daily field leadership and oversight for assigned construction projects in the Northeast Ohio area. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining the project schedule, enforcing safety and quality requirements, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with the contract documents.
Provide daily onsite supervision and coordination of all construction activities
Plan, organize, and direct field operations to support the project schedule and overall project objectives
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and site access
Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other project documents to ensure work is installed correctly
Monitor subcontractor manpower, productivity, sequencing, and performance
Identify potential schedule impacts, conflicts, delays, or incomplete work and promptly communicate them to the Project Manager
Conduct coordination meetings and participate in owner, subcontractor, and project progress meetings
Maintain accurate daily reports documenting manpower, work performed, equipment, deliveries, inspections, delays, weather conditions, and significant project events
Enforce site-specific safety requirements, company safety policies, applicable OSHA regulations, and report to Corporate Safety Director
Conduct routine jobsite inspections to verify quality, safety, housekeeping, and contract compliance
Coordinate required testing, inspections, punch-list activities, and project closeout
Ensure corrective work and deficiencies are addressed promptly
