We are looking for an experienced legal assistant who can help the busy attorneys and paralegals at our law office assist clients. You’ll be responsible for managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings, and ensuring our legal team is aware of upcoming deadlines.
You’ll also assist with preparing legal documents and contracts and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. If you work well in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver a high-quality work product, reach out to us today!
Compensation:
$35,000 - $45,000 yearly
Responsibilities:-
Manage office correspondence and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, communicating with other attorney offices and 3rd parties, e.g., financial advisers, responding to emails, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines

Review the status of outstanding invoices and follow up with clients on deposit requests

Scan documents and incoming communication, print documents

Assemble client estate planning portfolios

Attend client signing meetings as a witness

Organize and maintain our owner's inbox and the firm's filing system

Draft correspondence and (occasionally) simple estate planning documents

Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently

You will be working on many tasks and cases concurrently, sometimes over long periods of time. We expect you to keep track of key dates, keep the right people informed, and prioritize your time so that we never miss a deadline

You should treat a client, case, or task at 4:30 pm on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning at 9 am
