Consumable Content is a hospitality marketing agency based in Austin, TX. We partner with restaurants and food & beverage brands across the country to run their marketing — social, paid, email, and beyond.
About The Role:
We're building a roster of contract Content Creators to capture and edit short-form video for our clients on a per-project basis. You'll work directly with our Social Media Managers, receive clear shoot briefs, and produce content that feels native to Reels and TikTok.
Strong performers get first call on new projects as we scale. This is a roster-based relationship: the stronger the work and the easier you are to work with, the more consistent the opportunities.
Duties:
- Show up on-location at client restaurants and bars to capture authentic, trend-aware short-form video
- Edit and deliver polished Reels and TikToks remotely that include captions, audio syncing, transitions, and light graphics as needed
- Work from a brief. You'll know the brand voice, the goals, and the shot list before you arrive
- Bring your own instincts: if you notice a moment worth capturing that isn't in the brief, grab it
- Deliver assets on time and flag any issues early — reliability is everything on contract work
What We're Looking For:
- Native short-form instincts. You live on Instagram and TikTok and you know what's trending before we brief it
- Hospitality or food content experience. You've shot in restaurants, kitchens, or bars and know how to make food look great on a phone
- Solid mobile editing skills using CapCut, InShot, or native app editing with fast turnaround and clean output
- Professional on-site presence. You're warm, low-footprint, and get the shot without disrupting service
- Self-directed and responsive. You don't need to be managed, communicate clearly, and hit deadlines
- A portfolio of real short-form work. Not polished brand campaigns, just proof you understand the format
- Flexible availability, including occasional evening and weekend shoots
