Role Description
The Field Technician will be mostly on the road at our various customers in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with some days at our office in Bay Shore, NY.
The Field Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of A+ Mobile Solutions' equipment and systems, working closely with our customers to ensure their satisfaction. The Field Technician will also ensure all systems meet quality and safety standards and may assist in training staff or educators on the use of A+ Mobile technology.
Qualifications
- Understanding of networking, software installation and configuration
- Proficiency in hardware installation, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Experience providing technical support and training, following service tickets through to completion
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively at client sites
- Background in education or STEM fields is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the New York City Metropolitan Area
Additional Responsibilities
- Additional travel and onsite days at our office in Bay Shore, Long Island, NY.
- Clean driver's license required
- NetSuite, Acronis, Microsoft Teams and Google administration experience a plus
- Must be able to move and lift 50lbs.
- Lab building, imaging, configuration, QA testing, shipping and warehouse assistance as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
