Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) LEAD Installer Technician, where you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor comfort and air quality. As an integral part of our service/install team, you will deliver exceptional field service, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to property maintenance excellence. Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and system diagrams for proper installation and servicing.
- Collaborate with property managers and clients to assess needs and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.
- Perform field service tasks including appliance repair, refrigerant recharges, plumbing connections, and equipment calibration.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC installation or related fields such as mechanical or property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC system design documents accurately.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; capable of troubleshooting electrical issues within HVAC systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) principles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
- Additional skills such as appliance repair experience, property maintenance background, or mechanic experience are highly desirable. Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
