JOB SUMMARY: The Retail Back Office Specialist is a full-time position responsible for a variety of functions in the Lux Bond & Green Business Office. The primary responsibility of the position is to ensure the timely and accurate handling of a variety of financial functions summarized below.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
- Deliver a great customer experience supporting how our stores handle point of sales functions, transactions questions, and cash handling
- Process retail statements and check deposits and make bank deposits.
- Reconciliation of special order, layaway and deposit accounts.
- Posting wholesale sales as needed.
- Intake for employee repairs in corporate.
- Accounts Receivable functions including printing and mailing monthly statements, end of month adjustments, daily processing of AR payments, researching and resolving customer inquiries.
- Involvement in physical inventory counts.
- Process unclaimed assets.
- Weekly issue of refund checks.
- Weekly check run for expenses.
- Positive pay reporting.
- Make collection calls as necessary.
- Meet with supervisor once per week with status report.
- American Express monthly report.
- Other projects as requested by supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma required.
- Experience with a retail cash office, closing and balancing processes, etc. is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working in an office environment working with receivables.
- Experience with office computer equipment required as well as proficiency with Excel and other Windows based programs.
- Demonstrated experience in functions requiring a strong attention to detail.
EQUIPMENT USED: Mainframe computer as well as PC including use of Excel, Telephone, Adding machine.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
