American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Washington State.

Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 staffed beds

Teaching hospital environment

Responsibilities span floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response

Patient ratios vary depending on acuity

Night shift: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Every other weekend required
-
Block scheduling required
-
Floating between units and all facilities within the state is expected — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

EMR: Epic (required)
-
No on-call required
-
No parking fee
-
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Washington State RRT license required if applicable

Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required

Epic EMR experience required

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple care areas including general floor, ER, and emergency response situations such as code and rapid response

Any color scrubs permitted for RRTs

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
