Nurse Practitioner (Part-Time) | Columbus, OH
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Columbus, Ohio region. This is a part-time position (3 days per week) providing advanced wound care and dermatological services in inpatient hospital and outpatient wound clinic settings.
This role offers a high level of autonomy while being supported by a dedicated clinical team. We are looking for a provider who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has prior clinical experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and thorough documentation in our EMR.
- Provide advanced wound care, including sharp debridement, incision and drainage (I&D), and punch and shave biopsies.
- Develop and manage treatment plans to promote optimal wound healing.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including radiologic, laboratory, and vascular studies.
- Coordinate appropriate specialty referrals and recommend orthotics and other supportive therapies as needed.
- Recommend and prescribe medications, durable medical equipment (DME), and wound care supplies to support healing and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Ohio.
- Prior Nurse Practitioner experience required.
- Wound care experience
- Strong clinical assessment, procedural, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
