Duties
- Conduct comprehensive on-site inspections of residential properties to evaluate energy performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collect detailed data on building systems, insulation, HVAC units, windows, doors, and other components affecting energy efficiency.
- Analyze collected data to develop tailored recommendations for energy upgrades or retrofits that maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction inspection or site assessment roles with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities, including quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical data accurately for actionable insights.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, project documentation, and data collection methods related to building assessments.
- Previous exposure to construction or energy auditing projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
