Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure a safe and secure environment at all times
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and nap times with patience and care
- Use classroom management techniques to encourage positive behavior and social interactions among children
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to develop individualized care plans that meet each child's unique needs
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary
Experience
- Must meet Illinois DCFS requirements for teacher-qualified staff
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, nurturing, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
