As we continue to grow throughout Northern New Jersey, we are seeking a Design & Sales Consultant who can become a trusted advisor to homeowners while helping drive the next chapter of our company's growth.
This is not a traditional retail sales role.
This position blends elements of interior design, project estimating, client consulting, and relationship-based sales. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a key leadership role within our organization.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a polished, professional, and highly motivated individual who enjoys working directly with homeowners, solving problems, and helping clients make confident decisions about their homes.
You will conduct in-home consultations, evaluate project needs, recommend flooring and window treatment solutions, perform preliminary measurements, and guide clients through the design and purchasing process.
You will represent both Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings and The Duvtale Group with professionalism, expertise, and integrity.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation & Design Guidance
- Conduct in-home and virtual consultations with prospective clients
- Build trust and establish strong client relationships
- Understand homeowner goals, preferences, budgets, and project requirements
- Recommend flooring, window treatment, and related home improvement solutions
- Present samples and product options in a clear and professional manner
- Guide clients through design selections and purchasing decisions
Estimating & Project Development
- Perform preliminary measurements and site assessments
- Document project conditions and requirements
- Collaborate with internal staff to develop proposals and project pricing
- Assist with preparing quotes and project recommendations
- Ensure all information is accurately communicated to operations and installation teams
Sales & Business Development
- Follow up on company-generated leads
- Manage prospects through the sales process
- Maintain CRM records and client communication logs
- Close sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Generate referrals and cultivate repeat business opportunities
Brand Representation
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings

Expected Earnings
Successful consultants typically earn between $25,000 and $60,000+ annually on a flexible schedule, with opportunities for substantially greater earnings as responsibilities, sales volume, and leadership opportunities expand.
