Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Yard Spotter Driver to join our high-volume vehicle loading facility. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently moving trailers and containers throughout the yard while supporting daily loading operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a yard spotter to move trailers and containers throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Position equipment accurately to support loading and unloading operations.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist with general yard and loading operations, including manual labor as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a yard spotter is required.
- Strong commitment to safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and lifting as required.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in a dusty, industrial environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-capacity loading facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, port, or transportation yard operations.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
