Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, efficient Server to provide excellent guest experiences during our busy breakfast and lunch shifts. This role is fast-paced and team-focused, with opportunities to cross-train and grow.
Typical Schedule:
- Start Time: 5:30 AM – 9:00 AM
- End Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- All year round (no summer only)
- Weekday required
- Weekend availability may be required
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a welcoming attitude
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and alcohol responsibly
- Bus, clean, and reset tables efficiently
- Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries
- Take and process to-go orders
- Complete prep and side work
- Prepare checks and process payments
- Assist kitchen with plating and garnishing when needed
- Maintain cleanliness (stocking, sanitizing, sweeping, dishes)
- Reconcile daily cash transactions
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous serving experience preferred (but not required)
- Toast POS experience is a plus
- Strong cash handling and accuracy with making change
- Comfortable using basic math and calculators
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant equipment (coffee machines, soda/tea systems, soup wells, etc.)
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts
