Under the supervision of the Golf Professional staff, the Golf Shop Attendant will be responsible for the sale of merchandise, collection of fees, registration of players and assignments of tee-times.
Reports to: Assistant Golf Professionals, Golf Professional
Supervises: None
Essential Functions
- Answer the telephone and assist members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Register players and assign tee-times; maintain an accurate tee-sheet.
- Perform merchandise transactions on point-of-sale system.
- Prepare member clubs and push carts prior to tee-time.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the Golf Pro Shop.
- Work as a team player with co-workers and in conjunction with other departments.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Lift, push, pull, carry up to 25lbs.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive motion.
