```Duties:```
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components.
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels.
- Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with customers to customize alarm system settings based on their specific needs.
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed.
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of alarm system components, including sensors, control panels, and wiring.
- Proficient in locksmithing techniques for installation and maintenance of locks on doors and windows.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized equipment for installation and repair work.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles for integration of alarm systems with other security measures.
- Experience with cabling and wiring for connecting alarm system components.
- Understanding of security system concepts, including intrusion detection and access control.
- Ability to detect and resolve issues with computer hardware related to alarm systems.
- Mechanical knowledge for installation of physical security measures such as door locks.
