Job duties:
- Grinds various sized turned bars to exacting size and surface tolerances
- Operates automatic drill press, vertical mill, overhead cranes and forklifts
- Actively supports all PTS Management System activities i.e. 5S, Failure analysis etc.
- Provides ideas and feedback that are used in areas of continual improvement of all facility activities
- Supports all job functions by being cross trained in each area
- Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements
- Exercises independent judgment as needed
- Observe and follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules,
- while seeking continuous improvement.
- Follow all environmental requirements and regulations, while seeking continuous improvement.
- The incumbent is responsible for his/her safety as well as his/her colleagues, seeking continuous
- improvement related to employee’s health and safety, environment and the process efficiency and customer’s satisfaction with the quality of products and services. All efforts must be directed for preventive actions.
- 5S and routine equipment care
- Any additional duties that may be assigned by management
