Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Opportunities to learn and grow at Tex-Isle Supply’s fully integrated line pipe facility, and state of the art on-site heat treating and threading processing facility. Tex-Isle is a leading distributor of high-quality energy tubulars, with value-added manufacturing and processing capabilities. Tex-Isle is located 5 miles South of Robstown on Highway 77 and county road 30.
2-4 years of experience in related industry or industrial maintenance:
Responsibilities:
- Have safe work practices
- Familiar with a variety of hand tools and application
- Perform routine maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmissions, overhead cranes
- Skilled in oxygen/acetylene torch use, welding, and fabrication
- Troubleshooting industrial equipment when problems arise
- Mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment
- Support operations in repair and maintenance work
- Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an excellent manner
- Interpersonal skills to interact with others within the facility
- Multitask in a fast-paced work environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School or GED diploma
- Industrial training or apprenticeship desired
- Microsoft suite a plus
- Capable to lift at least 50 lbs weight
- Able to work in rotating shift, nights, days, weekends, and holidays
Reports to: Maintenance Manager - Robstown facility
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
