We are seeking a detailed and proactive Billing Specialist- Dermatology to become a part of our team! We are seeking someone with a broad knowledge of billing processes including eligibility ,charge entry, payment posting and AR. Working on process that ensure accurate billing, and working closely with insurance providers, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of healthcare billing processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with billing specifically eligibility and charge entry
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, eligibility requirements, and billing codes
- EMR experience required, Allscripts a plus
- Dermatologic terminology a plus
- Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work with others in a courteous, friendly, compassionate and professional manner
- Diligent with attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates awareness of OSHA regulations, Compliance and HIPAA
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude
