We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer and Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including window and door installation, carpentry, and remodeling. This role involves installing windows in residential buildings, ensuring precise fitting and adherence to safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and craftsmanship.
Duties
- Prepare openings by framing or drywall as needed for window installation.
- Install windows using hand tools, power tools, caulking, and trim carpentry techniques to ensure proper fit and seal.
- Perform assembly of window units when necessary.
- Apply caulking and weatherproofing techniques to ensure energy efficiency and durability.
- Assist with related fixture installation, such as doors
- Conduct heavy lifting of window units and materials safely on-site.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in glass installation, door Installation, and trim.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Familiarity with construction site safety standards and maintenance personnel experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience with construction painting or carpentry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per day
