- * 1st Shift (Full-Time): 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
- * 2nd Shift (Full-Time): 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM, including rotating weekends and holidays.
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour

Overview:
The EVS Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role ensures all areas are orderly and meet infection control and safety standards while supporting patient care, staff needs, and overall facility operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash in assigned areas throughout the facility.
- Clean and polish fixtures, surfaces, and furniture.
- Clean walls, windows, vents, lights, and baseboards.
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, emergency areas, and isolation rooms using proper PPE.
- Transport trash, infectious waste, and linens to designated areas safely.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and handling linens and cleaning materials.
- Set up rooms for meetings, events, and facility needs.
- Stock housekeeping supplies and maintain adequate inventory.
- Clean outdoor areas such as parking lots and trash receptacles.
- Perform floor care duties including mopping, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment in proper working condition.
- Handle blood, body fluids, and hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Follow MSDS guidelines and always use proper safety signage.
- Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Attend required training sessions, meetings, and complete assigned education.
- Follow hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and dress code standards.
- Report to work on time and complete all assigned duties.
- Promote a positive patient and customer experience.
- Support organizational values and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- Experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred.
- Working knowledge of floor cleaning machines preferred.
